Free the People Immigration March

Indivisible: Conejo members will meet up before the march, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Last Bookstore, 453 S. Spring St. We’ll head for Pershing Square together, along with several other groups from the northern and northwest suburbs.

Traveling in from the Conejo Valley, a great option is to drive to the North Hollywood Metro station, on Lankershim Blvd. south of Burbank Blvd., then take the Red Line to Pershing Square. Trains leave every 25 minutes. Here’s a helpful link:…

Let's stand with the vulnerable communities under attack from the Trump agenda, and show our commitment to ensuring that every person in our nation feels safe and supported. Immigrants truly made American great, and continue to help do so today -- even those who arrived here without documents. The ICE enforcement raids of the last week prove that Trump has every intention of launching a massive deportation effort; we need to show him that Americans will not stand for draconian measures that violate our basic values. So let's stand shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Californians, and make it clear to everyone from Los Angeles to Washington, DC: Everyone is welcome here.
