The voting record of 44th-district Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin is under fire, thanks to the publication of “Courage Scores” for state politicians. During this coffee in Westlake Village from 1-3 p.m., Indivisible: Conejo is offering activists an opportunity to question Irwin about her votes and her political philosophy. The address will be provided in a confirmation email after you RSVP.
Our Holiday Potluck on Sun., Dec. 16 from 4:30-8 p.m. will celebrate Conejo Together, NeverAgain SoCal, and candidates from the Conejo Valley, California and nationwide. Be sure to RSVP, and bring a favorite holiday-party appetizer, dessert and/or beverage!
After we wrap up our Get Out The Vote activities throughout the day, join us to watch election returns come in from the Conejo Valley, Ventura County and across the nation!
The inaugural Conejo Valley Pride event is on the books! Thanks to those Indivisible: Conejo activists who helped us provide $3,000 in sponsorship for the event. Please stay tuned for info on how you can volunteer to man IndivConejo's booth throughout this festive day!
Join your Indivisible friends & colleagues, along with many of the elected officials & candidates who need our help this fall, to celebrate summer and kick off the general-election campaign season. RSVP today!
Festival: Sat.-Sun., June 9-10, West Hollywood Park, 647 N. San Vicente Blvd., West Hollywood
Parade: Sun., June 10, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Santa Monica Blvd. between Fairfax and La Cienega
LA Pride Week is already in full swing, and culminates with a two-day festival including music, vendor and activist booths, kid-friendly activities and more. This year's parade is NOT being transformed into a protest march, as last year's was - instead returning to its tradition as a bold, brash & joyous celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Brady Campaign's Ventura County chapter and Indivisible: Conejo are holding a protest rally at the Promenade at Westlake, at Westlake & Thousand Oaks Boulevards, from 4-6 p.m.
Earlier in the day, Moms Demand Action is hosting a "Wear Orange Party in the Park" at Conejo Creek North Park, 1379 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Celebrate the season with Indivisible friends old and new, as we commemorate our achievements this year and look forward to 2018. Stop by anytime & stay as long as you like! We'll be in the tasting area to the right of the main entrance, with a no-host bar featuring Wade's fantastic selection of wines & beers (cheese & charcuterie plates will be provided). Please RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 12, so we can provide Wade's with an accurate head count. See you there!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, JANUARY 4 DUE TO THE VENTURA COUNTY FIRE EMERGENCY.
The first-ever Conejo Valley Pride festival is being planned for next year, and the organizing committee (part of the Diversity Collective of Ventura County) is kicking things off with this community-building and fundraising event. If you can't make the mixer, Brendan's is donating 10% of proceeds when you mention Conejo Valley Pride while dining there for lunch or dinner on 12/7.
Join us Saturday morning to make signs, create decorations, and sign the banner for Indivisible: Conejo's Ventura Pride booth!
The Trump Administration is attacking the LGBTQ+ community through bans on transgender military service and a direct assault by the Justice Department on LGBTQ+ civil rights. But we will show unity in our community by coming together Saturday to show love and strength in numbers.
Not an artist? No problem - we're signing a giant banner to display in our Pride booth - make sure your name is on it!
Bring sign-making supplies if you have them, and we'll have some good stuff, too!
