This Town Hall meeting will memorialize the Borderline victims and address issues raised by the tragedy -- the legality of large ammunition magazines, Gun Violence Restraining Orders, active-shooter drills and school safety, gun shows at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, etc. Program details and participants are TBA; the date, time and location are tentative.

Encourage T.O. City Council to Adopt 100% Clean Energy Goal

Thousand Oaks has joined with other cities to form a Clean Power Alliance, which will become the city's default energy provider. The city voted to strive for a goal of 50% clean power usage in the coming years, bun now council member Claudia Bill-de la Peña has requested consideration of a move to a 100% clean energy goal, matching the state's. The Council needs to hear from us, either during the meeting's comment period or via email prior to the meeting. Here are the council members' email address:

March On The NRA

The March On The NRA is a nationwide follow-up to last spring's March For Our Lives, protesting the organization that controls the GOP, colludes with the Russians, and stands in the way of common-sense gun reform. The SoCal march starts with a rally in Brea and continues with a march to the NRA's California headquarters in Fullerton. Here in the Conejo Valley, the student leaders of Never Again SoCal have organized a bus to take protesters to Orange County.
