Monday's "A Day Without an Immigrant" march kicks off an intense period of activism on immigration issues. It's up to us to show our leaders that Ventura County stands Indivisible!
This week Indivisible: Conejo activists participated in the March for Science (in Los Angeles, Ventura AND Santa Barbara) and prepared for two more marches in the coming days. Immigration is a key topic as May Day approaches, along with the votes on several state bills that would defy Trump's policies. Read all about it in our newsletter for April 26!
Indivisible: Conejo's 3rd general meeting drew 100-plus activists for training in phone banking, canvassing, voter registration and public advocacy via old & new media. Phone banks are already beginning for this spring's special elections, and April is a month of rallies near and far. Check out our weekly newsletter for April 5, 2017!
Last week's full-court press against the disastrous Trumpcare bill ended with a win. Our team also tackled Trump's deeply flawed Supreme Court nominee and lobbied our state representatives to support our migrant community. Indivisible: Conejo members rallied to save the ACA, supported Unity in the Community, and phone banked for the Kansas Congressional race. This week, we're getting ready for our Third General Meeting. Check it out!
