This week Indivisible: Conejo's "365 DAYS TO VICTORY!" meeting offered strategy, tactics and motivation we'll need to flip Congress in 2018 -- work that continues this month! On Wednesday we'll be back in the streets, protesting Trump's Tax Scam; on Tuesday we'll back in the CVUSD board chambers, fighting another extremist censorship attempt. Our work is just getting started!
Indivisible: Conejo steams toward its all-important Nov. 4 general meeting, "365 DAYS TO VICTORY!", with Issue Action Team meetings and phone banks to flip the Virginia state legislature. Our Postcard Party, penning notes to voters in southeastern and southwestern VA, was a rousing success (as always). Check it all out!
Even as our Issue Action Teams lead the way in preparing for our "365 Days To Victory!" general meeting on Nov. 4, Indivisible: Conejo had much to celebrate this week. A fundraising initiative for Sherman Alexie's "Part-Time Indian" forced CVUSD to fund purchases of the book itself, while participation in our phone banks reached new heights. Read all about it in this week's newsletter!
Thursday's Trumpcare vote stings, but this week Indivisible: Conejo activists take pride in their fierce advocacy -- at Rep. Knight's office (twice), at the Day Without an Immigrant march in Oxnard, at a "100 Days of Trump" protest, and more. Check it all out -- plus highlights of the Immigrants' Rights teams stellar week of action -- in our weekly newsletter!
This week Indivisible: Conejo activists participated in the March for Science (in Los Angeles, Ventura AND Santa Barbara) and prepared for two more marches in the coming days. Immigration is a key topic as May Day approaches, along with the votes on several state bills that would defy Trump's policies. Read all about it in our newsletter for April 26!
