National, state, and local issues - this week had it all. Indivisible: Conejo activists kept their eye both on the national healthcare bill and California's proposed SB54 "The California Values Act" and SB562 "The Healthy California Act", which deal with local law enforcement's role in Federal immigration, and single-payer healthcare, respectively. But issues much closer to home required the group's prompt and energetic attention as a religious faction's power play on the Conejo Valley School Board resulted in censoring books in the high school curriculum.
